Introduction

Oxygen is carried around in your red blood cells by a molecule called haemoglobin. Blood Oxygen Ring measures how much oxygen the haemoglobin in your blood is carrying and your heart beat rate. Some people experience stop breathing during sleep which causes the blood oxygen saturation drops. Blood Oxygen Ring is able to track your health status when you are sleeping and send you a reminder for early detection; hence you can have an immediate response.

Generally, symptoms of low oxygen in adults are not age-specific. Same as adults, any disease which can cause low oxygen saturation in adults will do in elderly. This may include shortness of breath, rapid heart rate, rapid breathing, wheezing and coughing.

You do not have any ‘unwell’ symptoms but understand your health status is essential. Awareness and checking regularly on your condition can save the situation before getting worse.

Snoring

Sleep is the time to recover from daily activities and recharge your body. However, about half of today’s population experience sleep distraction because of a common reason – snoring. It can be a nuisance to you and your partner.

Snoring is the result of narrowed or obstructed airflow during sleep. All the muscles of the airway relax and so narrowing the passageways. When we breathe the airflow moves through these passages, collapsing in the throat, which causes the vibrations that we all know as snoring. However, it is often a common symptom of sleep apnea. Sleep apnea can affect anyone, including children. It is more common in older men who are overweight.

Sleep Apnea is a sleeping disorder and it is always a complication factor of heart disease. People with sleep apnea may stop breathing for sometime during sleep. The sudden decrease in blood oxygen level causes the release of substances in the body that increase blood pressure and strain the heart. A person with Sleep Apnea has three times the risk of dying due to any cause compared with people who do not have sleep apnea.

American Sleep Apnea Association estimates that 38,000 people in the United States die each year from heart disease with sleep apnea. However, Sleep Apnea is always left untreated and this is the most worrying.

How It Can Help?

After years of research and study, we develop the Blood Oxygen Ring which can help in the treatment of Sleep Apnea.

How it works

Blood Oxygen Ring allows you to track your blood oxygen level every second. It will start to track your blood oxygen level, heart rate and body motion continuously when you are sleeping. Just connect it to your mobile application with bluetooth, you can get real-time reading and generate reports from it.

Hypoxic Event Detection

Blood Oxygen Ring is able to detect every hypoxic or irregular event such as blood oxygen level drops / below threshold value / abnormal heartbeat rate by sending a vibration alarm to wake you up; hence you will be able to adjust your breath and regain the blood oxygen level back to normal level. The alarm vibration strength is adjustable, noise free and it will not disturb your partner.

Threshold

You can adjust the threshold value of the Blood Oxygen Level in the setting to meet your personal requirements (Default is 88%).

If the blood oxygen level drops below the threshold value, it will trigger the vibration and wake you up.

You are recommended to use the Blood Oxygen Ring along with your CPAP machine. This can help you to check if the CPAP machine works well with you. You can also utilise this setting to find out the lowest Blood Oxygen Level of your hypoxic event.

Report

Blood Oxygen Ring allows you to export your sleep report to PC using our dedicated software which can be downloaded at HERE. The report will display your Blood Oxygen Level, Heart Rate and Body Motion in every 4-second interval of time. It is easy for a doctor to analyze your situation and advise your on your further treatment.
